Blog Withdrawal

Yikes, I guess I am addicted to this blogging thing, because I was just not feeling well enough to post since Sunday, and it feels kinda nice to do so now! Oh well, I can think of about twenty worse addictions.

Last night, I made the trek back to Urgent Care. Got there at 5:15 PM, and once again, the waiting room was filled to capacity with crying, coughing babies and youngsters and the adults that were tending them. Everyone seemed to be experiencing the same crud. So, I checked in, isolated myself as much as possible, finally saw the Doc at 7:30 PM, and was DX with upper respiratory inflammation, got prednisone and inhaler, headed home, and after using all that and Tylenol, I finally have some relief after 3.5 weeks of feeling mostly like crap. Enough! I am 75%, which is a good thing.

Today, I am making photos of Molly and Brody to enter into the Chippewa County Humane Association's Annual Pet Photo Contest. I do not care if I win or not, I like the idea of supporting that cause. It's a $5.00 entry fee for each picture, and the money goes for all kinds of stuff they need to operate.

The next competition is to enter some artwork in the Chippewa Herald Annual Spring Art Show, which is held at the Heyde Center. My "student" is having a wonderful time oil painting, and I am going to encourage her to enter some pieces she has created. I hope she does.
