Tomorrow, March 11th is my husband Fred's 55th birthday. He says it's just another day. Perhaps, as we age, those birthdays come faster and faster, and we kind of dread them. I guess that is so. I know my Mom loved her birthdays! Of course, having a birthday in July (like Mom) is a great time, because most folks love some kind of party in the summer. There's more to do, and places to go, and it seems to be easier to get folks involved. (Mine is the week before Christmas, so we won't even go there.)

Oh, monumental...well I think it is...I mean...really...he can qualify for the senior citizen discount at most restaurants now! (I mentioned it to him and for some odd reason, he failed to see the humour in that!)
