A couple of things to mention before I get to the festivities of this wonderful day! First, in my thoughts often today is family who have lost their father's this past year. My uncle Jamesy's family-cousins Jay, Jeff and their SO's Joan and Leo, and my Aunt Fernie. Also, my Uncle Chuck's family, Joanne, Stephany, Jay, Emma, Julia and Cade and David and Kyle and Logan. Your sadness today must have been overwhelming.
Then to my son Nathan, who could not be with his Olivia today, and my husband Fred, who could not be with his son today. Olivia was traveling with her Mommy, and Joe, Fred's son, lives in Nevada.
All this made me feel very fortunate to have had time with my Dad today. Actually, there were quite a few "Dad's" in the house! Stacy and Jamie hosted a whole bunch of folks today, and we had a great time, laughing with all the dads. Here's a few of the photographic
highlights...with some captions...enjoy!

Dad, Jim Kuckler with a too-big fishing hat, cigarette (he does not smoke)! Dad let's us make him look silly, and we love him for it. Always a good sport. That's Fred and Al (Jamie's step-dad) enjoying the day; Al and Big Jer; sister Wendy, Dad and brother Dan having some serious time; and our host, Jamie, fooling around!
