Horse Power

I'd had this perfectly wonderful post all planned for tonight, and will postpone it for another day. It's a little retrospective on growing up on the farm, and how our horses helped mold our social and home lives. A small carrot for you to nibble on, you say? Ok, all the horses in our neighborhood had these really great names, you know, classic horse names like Trigger was to the Lone Ranger. Wait...I have that wrong. Trigger was Roy Rogers nag. Anyway, the horses in our neighborhood were named Red, Cimarron, Apache, Dallas, Amber Red Flame, Brandy, etc. Oh, then there was Dusty. (to be continued)
