Our lawn looks great. Typically, we pump water from the lake on the lawn. Not this year. But, we also have not had many days to be boating. The mosquitoes are thriving in this wet, and our friends in Wisconsin Dells have not lost their home, as some, but that city which makes it's fortune on the tourist business will surely suffer until Lake Delton is revived.
All this makes me wonder about Lake Wissota, which is also a man-made lake. The lake level is most likely controlled by the dam in Chippewa Falls and Lafayette, as well.
More rain is predicted tonight, and all day tomorrow. A few days of summer would be nice. It'll get here.
