The cardiac catheterization was very freaky. Some trouble finding good veins for the two IV's, but finally it worked. I really like a nurse who used a little novacaine first, I am grateful.
The drugs during the procedure were OK, but I was awake for most of it, and FELT it like a big dog when they were putting things inside my artery. Nothing unexpected; I felt the warmth flow over me as they injected the dye.
I have a good heart. No blockage, NONE. Nothing that would even indicate any issues, so given my less than perfect lifestyle and bad genes in the ticker department, I am thankful.
Today, my leg hurts, my groin hurts, and I have slept on and off. No work until Thursday, so I am resting. It's not a constant pain, more of an ache, and sitting does not help, so I will save any lengthy missives until I feel better.
Hey, thanks everyone...who was concerned and let me know. It's good to know my good heart is appreciated by so many others. I am blessed.
BTW, Fred...the keeper of this good heart....thank you, for everything you are to me and everything you do for me. You are 'da man.
And, lest I forget...there is nothing quite like dog-therapy. Molly and Brody hardly leave my side. They are right on the bed with me keeping watch. Afterall, I am the pack leader!

Nee Nee, I am oh so grateful that everything went well for you. I was very worried, so was Mom. I love you so much. I am glad your heart is okay because you carry so many people in it. -Stac
