The Waning Summer

Mmmmm, there's a chill in the air, and the leaves on the trees and shrubs are all starting to show signs of changing colors. Just hints of yellows, and there are a few soft maples that are crimson and orange. Autumn is upon us.

Here are a few photo's of this last of summer. Our Airstream trailer at Kim and Jer's lake place in Siren. Kim has such a beautiful garden! Gracie, the little Golden Retreiver puppy that was there one weekend. OMG, is there anything quite as adorable as a golden baby? I think not. Our place here on the lake. When summer is in full bloom, the yard looks pretty good, despite the pee spots from the dogs, and my gardens were pretty nice this year.

It will be fun to remember these days in the midst of January....enjoy!
