Wow! What a difference a week makes!
Lots and lots of things happened in the week of my absence.
I prepared as much as I could for Fred's impending surgery; I visited the Nowak's and met Callie, the newest member of their family, got Fred to Oakleaf Surgical Hospital on Friday for his total knee replacement; kept things under control here at home; brought Fred home today and finally a few moments to check mail, e-mail, and blogs, etc.
After things settle down tonight, watch for more. It's been on helluva week!

Great oppertunity to dot on Fred for a bit. Make him some brownies, pour a couple stiff drinks and enjoy the fantastic view from the porch! This time of year makes for visuals at the lake. Here's to a quick Recovery.
