Evil...I was thinking...

Tonight, I was thinking about the evil nature of some people. The most recent post from our local paper on the topic of the snowmobilers and the deer evokes a sickness deep inside my being. Sure, I am an animal lover and understand about hunting deer. It's not for me, but I do not get on my soap box and put down people who do. It's a choice, and for thousands of years, man has been eating meat. I'm not going to discuss that in this post.

This entry to Original Cyn is about evil.

So, have you read the article? Whatever do men (I can only assume it is guys who did this) think about when gathering in a circle on huge machines and run down defenseless, cold, hungry creatures? What goes through a man's mind to tie up a deer and leave it?

HELP ME!!! Why is it that people do these things? Yes, there are many, many tragedies in life, but this is one (IMHO) incident that causes me to believe in, and be afraid of EVIL.

I truly shudder to think of this. I put my hands to my eyes and try to erase the image of snow machines with male riders behaving in a Neanderthal manner.

Wait...as I've said before...that is an insult to the Neanderthals.

Evil exists, and this is proof. The salvation is this...evil would not exist without goodness. Just as God would be nowhere without the Devil. The fire of eternal hell awaits those who maim and destroy God's gifts to us, i.e. these deer killers, puppy millers, etc.
