Hey Cyn
That is a beautiful ice candle! I used to make them too, you have the perfect weather for that right now. How did you get the ice so crystal clear?

Hey Cyn. I have a great friend in Alaska that makes in big cement buckets and lines her driveway around Christmas time. How did you make them?

Hey Sis and Kim,

Thanks...our really frigid weather has been perfect for candle making.

I got a plastic waste basket from WalMart, filled 2/3 with warm water and set out on the front porch. Overnight, they freeze leaving a small "bubble" of water in the middle. Carefully turn it over, let the water run out, and turn over again, and hold a stream of HOT water to melt a hole in the top. Voila! They are sooooo pretty.
