BIG VOTE

Tomorrow, Wisconsin Senators will vote on SB208 - the "puppy mill" Bill.
At this writing, all but three senators have committed to YES votes.

Remember all those signatures on the petitions? They have been delivered, and the next step is Governor Doyle's signature into law.

I am proud to have been a part of this project. I am honored to have worked along side so many people who share in this non-partisan effort.

Thank you to Representative Jeff Smith who co-authored the bill along with Senator Pat Kreitlow.

And, to all those mama doggies in cages, basements, cold barns, drafty outdoor enclosures, who have given their lives producing puppies...your soft cries and whines are being heard.

NEVER, EVER buy a puppy or dog from a PET STORE.

That is how we will REALLY make and impact and close these things down.
