It was one of those nearly perfect days. Despite it being negative something regarding the outdoor temperature, everything just fell into place. Fred and I took off for the "cities" on time; we stopped in Menomonie at Caribou for coffee and scones; traffic was non-existent; there was only one WI trooper on the way; we got a PERFECT parking spot at Minneapolis International; Joe's flight was on time; Ryan, Nathan, Jessica and Olivia all met us at the Machine Shed in Lake Elmo for late lunch; the journey home was good, and it's cold, we're having spaghetti and apple crisp with Culver's Custard; Joe just woke from a nap, the dogs are glad we are home and we are gonna watch a movie. Life is good! Yep, a nearly perfect day. Today's highlights: The kids finally all meeting, Olivia tasting a piece of lemon, being home and cozy on the coldest night of the year, thus far. So, thanks God. It was one of those nearly perfect days.
