Ten Stockings

At Christmas time, there are 10 stockings hung with care on our mantle. Even though the holidays are officially over, this is a fun way of telling you about our family. Of course, there's Fred, me, Molly, Brody and one was up there this year for Danger. The remaining stockings are for the two-legged family members, who don't live under our roof.

A Tale of My Three Sons
Between Fred and I, we have three sons. Joe, Fred's son lives in Las Vegas and works for a car dealership and also attends college. He is studying to be a video animator, and is also a tremendous success at World of Warcraft. He's a great guy, and will be visiting us this coming week. We are excited, and this will be the first time Joe will meet his step-family. It should be a great time! Ryan and Nathan belong to my side of the family. Ryan is a quick wit, very smart, controvercial thinker and a hugely successful gambler. Nathan is the second son, who has a terrific sense of humor, has worked as an electrician, and is currently working for the Heinz company in Stillwater. Both are avid outdoorsmen, who love to fish and hunt. Each of them were diagnosed with Friedreich's Ataxia at 18, so life has been a little different for them than the average bear. It will be a very fun time for all the guys to meet this coming weekend.

The Ladies of the Family
The first lady of the family is Jessica, who is married to Ryan. I always say, if you wanna meet a real live angel, she's the one! How could anyone go wrong with this killer combination: Smart, beautiful and the one who makes me laugh. In a word, J-Yo is CHERISHABLE. The littlest but not the least, is our Olivia Jean. She's a wild girl. She's also one. Nathan is her Daddy, and although they do not live together, he spends time with her often, and brings her to spend time with Grannie Cyn and Papa Fred.

So, that's the lot of us...the 10 stockings.

Hmmmmm, Lynnie, I do believe that Kenny is actually "wearing" his Christmas stocking. On what, we are not entirely sure.
