Whew...a big decision happened at our house these past few days. Fred has a totally gorgeous bass boat named Lucifer's Hammer. It's got that really big motor and a bigger fuel demand. I have the Original Cyn, which is a nice and fun pontoon. We have the best of both worlds, I guess. Fred likes fast, I like slow.
This weekend, we decided to trade in both our boats. Now, for those of you who know us personally, you realize our passion for the water, and living on a lake, we enjoy being there as much as possible. We are also making an effort to scale back, do our part to reduce our consumption of fuel while still enjoying the hobbies we really like. Hence, one boat. That said, we are looking at a more fuel economic model. A deck boat, I think they are called. Plenty of room for folks to come onboard and spend the day on the lake and also set up for fishing which Fred enjoys; and, we will be able to get under the X bridge, which we were not able to do in my pontoon, and those who know Ray's beach on the "big" lake...well, it's just a really fun place to go hang out for the day.
Sooooooo, we'll see how things pan out. This will be a difficult change for Fred. You all know how he loves horsepower! Stay tuned...
