You know, I got yet another one of those personal surveys today at work, and sent it on to a few folks whom I thought might respond. All this got me thinking....what are the reasons we like them, and if we don't like them, what are the reasons we respond, with sometimes heartfelt answers, and sometimes comedic thoughts?
I, for one think we can all be a little self-indulgent and curious, by nature. It occured to me that answering those things may be more fun than reading what others have written. I'm just saying...there must be some definite psychology to all this!
That said, here is a little survey I created.
1. Name one thing that totally grosses you out. Seeing any kind of surgery.
2. If you could have a month off work, and had a $1,000 (Whoa...$31,000.00!!!) a day to spend on whatever you wanted, what would you do? Hmmm, maybe go to Vegas for a month.
3. Where in the world would you be afraid to travel? Middle East
4. What is your strangest purchase at a thrift store, garage sale, etc? A stuffed toy that had a thingie inside which played "Minuet"
5. Tattoo(s)? No, but I am thinking of getting some parts of my body semi-permamently stained, like with henna.
6. What would be your idea of the best couple to present an Academy Award? Jack Nicholson and PeeWee Herman
7. Would you consider joining a nudist club (why or why not)? YES! Because I'd like to think people who do those things are pretty non-judgmental in all ways.
8. What song (s, but limit to 3) can you listen to over and over, and performed by whom? Coming Back to Life - Floyd; Here, There and Everywhere-Beatles; Symphony #9-Beethoven.
9. Describe your most comfortable outfit. All 100% cotton sweatpants, 3/4 sleeve t-shirt and socks, Crocs.
10. Have you ever been on a cruise? Yes, twice...Eastern and Western Caribbean
11. Like the telelvision show, name your choice of the "dirtiest job". Surprisingly, it's NOT cleaning up animal poop, probably because of a farm up-bringing. I think disposing of human body parts removed in the aforementioned surgery.
12. Do you like roller coasters? NO
13. Your greatest luxury? Napping
14. Your least favourite colour? I have two, red and avocado green, especially not together. Two exceptions to the red thing, I actually look good in red, and have a couple of red tops, and at Christmas, red is a must, but for a boat, car or bike, no red. Wait...now that I think it over, I had a red Jeep. Ok, so I am fickle. And, I love avocados, but that appliance deal...has got to go!

17. Crest or Colgate? Colgate
18. Scope or Listerine? Listerine
19. If you had nothing but pet food in your house and were starving, would you eat it? If it was dry, yes...not any canned food. Dog, preferably.
20. Ever had to take a drug test? No, but I have tested some drugs.
21. In your heart of hearts, if it were the day after the general election, who do you think will be our next president? John McCain
22. Do you have any food wrappers in your car...like under the seats, glove box or right out in the open? Probably.
23. What really makes you laugh so hard you could pee your pants or cry? Being totally silly with Fred
24. What is your best breakfast? Scrambled eggs with cheese sauce on toast; Welch's grape juice and cocoa.

31. Have you ever worn socks more than one time between washing? Yes, but only under a circumstance like camping.

33. Do you have any nicknames? None that I liked, and in my more adult life I am known as Cyn, and some folks like to call me Cindy, which I think is childish.
34. What are some things found in your junk drawer? Spent batteries, dried out markers, those thingies to tie plastic bags, old photos of people I don't know.
35. Who makes you laugh? Fred, Toni, Poo, Jake, Ryan, Nathan, Jessica, and most recently and quite happily, my cousin Jeffrey
