Our friends, Lou and Annie Nowak have done quite an admirable and sensitive thing. They are wonderful pet owners to Madeline, Abby and Eddie. Two German Shepherds and one Collie, respectively.
Today will be a really wonderful day for an 8 1/2 year old Collie who was surrended to the Chippewa County Humane Association a while back. She was in very very poor condition, needing attention to her eye and coat which was terribly matted. Mouse was her kennel name. Callie is her new name, and her family is the Nowak's!

She'll have nothing but the best food, and a nice run, company, and most of all, she beat the odds of most dogs that end up at shelters. That being, as an adult and a little on the mature side of life, she has found a family to care for her and love her and see that the remaining years of her life will be pleasant and happy.
Most folks want a puppy. The Nowak's have done an honorable thing.
