Twenty five things you may not know about me...

1. My favorite artist is Vincent VanGogh.
2. I am old enough to remember party-line phones when we lived in Withrow, Minnesota.
3. My favorite girls name is Valerie.
4. Math was my worst subject in school, and in my professional life have been a cost accounting specialist.
5. In 7th grade, I skipped school and got 7 hours of detention for doing so.
6. Abby, Danny, Steven and Michael are all my God-Children.
7. I saw Paul McCartney in concert at the Ames, Iowa University Stadium.
8. Washington, D.C. is probably my favorite place in the world (so far).
9. I watch Family Guy and King of the Hill with Fred.
10. I cannot remember what my REAL hair color is.
11. Public service and me are a great fit.
12. I once got really stinky on Sloe Gin and now it makes me sick to think of it.
13. John Candy is my secret heart-throb.
14. Navy blue is my favorite color, and I have more of that in my closet than any other.
15. I did not start to drink coffee until I was over 50.
16. I can remember 4 cent stamps as first class postage - at the Post Office in North St. Paul.
17. I ran away from home once with an empty suitcase.
18. Every place I have lived has been on or very near a body of water.
19. My first sailing experience, the boat tipped over and I had to swim to shore.

23. I once got bucked off our horse Dusty and was afraid to get back on because she used to bite us in the butt.
