A week or so ago, Fred and I traveled to Minnesota, South Dakota and Wyoming with my sister Kim and Jerry for a family vacation. It was grand! 10 days away from work, and we went to Yellowstone National Park.
Bison: many. Bears: none we saw or heard. Elk: one. Pronghorns: lots. Old Faithful: kind of hokey. Canyons: amazing. Waterfalls: two, and incredible. Yellowstone Lake: seemed lifeless, and massive. Campground: intimate (being nice). Company: PRICELESS!!!
